All moving parts covered with SS304 covers.

Safety guards made from SS304 pipes provided in front of the m/c with limit switch.

As per customer requirement machine will be provided with left side drive or with right side drive.

Mixing Bowl and Cover:

SS304 bowl design in three sections i.e Flat bottom, Cylindrical mid portion and conical top portion for efficient mixing operation & provided with counter balanced lid. Lid provided with vents, view ports & charging openings.

Main Impeller and Drive:

The main impeller consists of dual speed 750/1500 synchronous dual HP TEFC motor, coupled through a belt drive to a worm reduction gearbox with chain coupling.

The impeller is designed to provide mixing at the bottom and at the centre of the bowl and is driven through a specially designed bearing housing that facilities inside wash facility for quick change over and also prevents leakage of powder from bottom entry and leads to longer life of gear box.

Chopper:

The chopper drive consists of dual HP Dual speed (1440/2800 synchronous speed) TEFC MOTOR.

The motor shaft is of S.S. and the chopper has specially designed 4 blade S.S. Impeller.

The shaft is integral with the motor.

Discharge Port:

The discharge port is mounted horizontally into the bowl with vertical downward opening.

The opening is operated by pneumatic cylinder and discharged can be regulated for required opening.

Mounting:

A sturdy M.S. channel frame is used to house the drive assembly at the bottom.

The bowl is mounted on the top. A S.S. staircase and railings are provided for the platform.

The platform is half covered with S.S. dimpled plates.

For safe movement of operator and the area under the bowl is covered with S.S.

Description:

• Multi Mill unit consists of SS 304 quality hopper and processing chamber (can be provided is SS 316 quality at extra cost) with beaters assembly, motor, reversible switch, DOL starter, four speed step pulley, suitable screen with painted pillar mounted on base plate, with castors.

Operation:

• Multi Mill operates on the principle of variable force swing beaters having both knife and impact edges rotating within a selected screen to get the required size reduction.
• Material fed in the hopper, goes down to the processing chamber where it moves to the periphery and passes through the screen radially and tangentially.
• Finally the processed material gets collected in the container kept below the processing chamber.
• Output and quality of the final product depends on three main factors: Shape of beaters (knife/impact edges), Speed and Screen.

• Fluid Bed Dryer has adopted new concept of GMP Regulation with improved performance (drying time is much less than the conventional model) minimum involvement of manual labour simplified maintenance and utilise modular construction techniques to provide flexible installation options.

Vibro Sifter are circular unitary gyratory screens used to separate mass composition of solids from solids, liquid from solid and for gradation of materials as per particle size, having a very wide range applications.
The top weight causes vibration in the horizontal plane which causes the material to move across the screen towards the periphery.
The lower weight acts to tilt the machine which causes vibration in the vertical tangential axis.
The angle of lead of the lower weight with relation to the upper weight provides variable control of the screening pattern. Thus the material moves across the screens and also in the vertical and tangential planes enabling maximum screening.

The sifter unit consist of Specially designed vibratory motor to run with adjustable eccentric weights at the top and bottom of the motor shafts mounted vertically at the center of the base plate of screening unit.
Screening unit consists of SS 304 screen sandwiched between SS 304 hopper and bowl with the help of special clamp with gasket. This in turn is clamped to the base plate. Operation:

The Octagonal Blender gives best result for granules due to very slow speed and octagon shape of container.

In Octagonal Blender the granules comes from all sides due to the octagonal shape of the product container, hence requirement of RPM is less.

Suitable mainly for Crystalline & Granular type material. This type of material gets sufficient continuous movement due to their shape if container have only slow movement and will results in good quality of blending / lubrication of granules.

The Laboratory scale conventional costing machine is ideal for film and sugar coating. The machine is available with 12", 14",16", 18" and 20" size of stainless steel coating pan. The machine is designed with fabricated structure fitted with SS enclosure and drive unit of motor and reduction gear box. Machine has variable speed drive to achieve 5 to 15 RPM by variable speed pulley. The machine is mounted on anti vibration pads which avoids foundation and vibration.

A hot air blower system is provided separately on trolley for easy cleaning and setting. The system has thermostat controller to selected temperatures between 40º C to 100º C by electric Heater. The complete systems fitted suitable motor, blower, piping and nozzle for hot air flow.

MACHINE CONSTRUCTION

a) Material Feeding Operation

The Feeders can be easily removed for cleaning between product changeover because of quick release Feeder clamping screws effective feeder leveling ensures that the feeder bases can be easily set and maintained at the desired height. Resetting of the feeder base is not required even if the feeder is removed for cleaning.

b) Compact Design for Higher Output

The powder circulating bend fitted to the feeder keeps the powder spilling to an absolute    minimum. Higher tablet output with greater weight consistency is obtained by an extended tail over the die/ ensuring that the die fill is covered until the moment of compression.

c) Powder inlet setting

Adjustments in the powder inlet are made from the hopper support bracket. These adjustments are possible without having to shut down the machine and open the guards.

d) Drive Configuration

The turret is driven by a precise phosphorus-bronze worm Fitted to a bearing mounted worm shaft which is driven by A V-Belt and variable speed pulley. Speed Adjustment is achieved by moving the motor slide up & down. Small adjustments may be made to the engagement between the worm and worm wheel to disallow any wear which can be adjusted / in turn extending its life.

e) Cam Track Design

The Machine incorporates the latest cam track design having smooth cam angles. Smooth cam angles improve punch Travel / which in turn / facilitate tablet ejection and reduce punch head wear extended through lubrication of the cam tracks.

f) Cleanability

The tableting zone has been designed as per the stringent cGMP norms. The main features of the tableting zone include;

g) Operator Safety

lnterlocks switches are attached to all the upper guards ensuring that the machine switches off immediately should a guard be left open during machine operation. A guard indicator light is also provided on the machine control panel for the same purpose.

h) Maintenance

Major controls and the one-shot lubrication system are easily accessed through the hinged front and rear panels. Since there are no moving parts in this area these are not interlocked, therefore adjustments can be carried out safely while the machine is in operation.

i) Lubrication

All major lubrication points are served by the one-shot lubrication system. Oil cups are provided wherever continuous lubrication is required.
